- I'm an NRA member and I was stunned and saddened by this response. Saying nothing would have been a better choice. That said, please study the purpose behind the 2nd amendment - banning weapons is the first step to repeal, at which time we will become subjects, not citizens.

- Michael, You don't live in Texas do you? In this state we are allowed to use lethal force to protect ourselves and our property. We know that and the criminals know that too. That said, this man had no intent to commit murder, his intent was to remove the threat from his daughter.
